Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn to prevent excessive smoking and ensure an even flame. Allow the wax to melt completely across the surface during the first burn to avoid tunneling. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from drafts, pets, and children. Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, then let the candle cool before relighting.
